This is a large commercial site and the planning application to redevelop on it follows on from a public exhibition of the plans.
Since that exhibition there has been a lot of comment about the plans by residents and community groups who have expressed concern about many aspects of it. Fitzrovia News has a report and the West End Extra also has a report. Fitzrovia West Neighbourhood Forum has information here and here.
The published plans now on Westminster City Council’s website show little change from those presented in the autumn, other than to make the proposed petrol filling station a drive-through from Clipstone Mews to Cleveland Street. Our association is very concerned about the whole development proposal which we view as being completely unacceptable.
