One of seven quilted wall hangings handmade for the Bangladeshi Mela 2002 (Royal 50th Jubilee) by women at Fitzrovia Neighbourhood Association.
This is being sold by silent auction. Other smaller items will be sold outright. Please drop by between 6-8pm weekdays to have a look, register for the auction and make your best bid! All money will go towards the FNA’s community programmes.

Backed with silk sari material, crimson printed gold. Four black cotton hanging tabs at the top.

Size: Approx. 88cm x 140cm + four 5cm x 7cm tabs
Cotton, wool felt, guaze, sequins, glue, glitter, paint, silk backing
Condition: excellent, used. Some sequins missing from the gauze border especially at the top.
The item is being sold to fund community development projects.
