Welcome to the Older Fitzrovia newsletter for June. We have variety of events and activities keep you active and entertained. 

Fitzrovia Festival will be running 18-25 June this year, with exhibitions, guided walks and talks. The full list will be in the Fitzrovia News which comes out 7 June or you can go to fitzroviafestival.org.uk/events where you’ll be able to keep up with all the events as they are confirmed!

Ipad/Tablet workshop at Fitzrovia Court Thursday 23 June 2-4pm! If you would like to try out an Ipad or Tablet computer, or you have one which you would like some help using, please join us. This is a taster session to assess the level of interest in running a 6 week course later this year – whether you can get to this or not do let me know if you are interested on 020 7580 4576.

Tea and Cakes on a Sunday! On Sunday 26 June 3-5 pm Itamar and Sarit, the proprietors of Honey & Co, 25a Warren St W1T 5LZ, are inviting local people over 65 to sample their delicious teas and cakes for free. Space is limited, so please call me on 020 7580 4576 by Thursday 23 June to book your place. They and their staff look forward to welcoming you on the 26th!

Time to Sing is on Mondays 11am – 12.30pm at Fitzrovia Court, 24 Carburton St W1W 5AS. Come along for a jolly sing and meet new people! Funded by the Marylebone and West End Ward Funds, Westminster City Council until the end of July.

Massage/Reflexology is on Wednesdays, 2.00 – 3:30pm at Fitzrovia Court, 24 Carburton St W1W 5AS. Funded by the Derwent Community Fund until the end of this month. If you’re interested, or haven’t had a repeat visit for a while, please call me on 020 7580 4576 and leave a message. I’ll try to fit you in as soon as possible.

Margaret Street Lunch Club for anyone over 60 is every Friday at the WORD tearoom at the London Jesus Centre, 83 Margaret St, W1W 8LH. Doors open at 12pm Lunch and Desert with Tea/Coffee for £4.50 – served at 12.30. Further info: Doris Kahnes 020 7637 0600

Donations: Fundraising from trusts has become ever more difficult this year, and several of our community programmes are in danger of closing after this summer. If you would like to make a donation towards our work please go to this site where you can also do gift aid: Donate Now.
