Museum of Ordinary Animals is a new exhibition on at the Grant Museum, in the Rockefeller Building, University College London, 21 University Street WC1E 6DE.  I’ve arranged a group viewing for Thursday 9 November 2pm. Please let me know if you’re interested by getting back to me on 020 7580 4576, we’ll meet out front at 1.45. Reminiscence for Older Adults (50+): Fridays (during school term times) 10.30-12.30 at Fitzrovia Court. These sessions explore not only personal stories but local history in general. Run by Open Age. (£2)
Tea and Cakes on a Sunday will next be on 19 November 3-5 pm, at Honey & Co, 25a Warren St W1T 5LZ – Itamar and the staff look forward to welcoming you back for their lovely tea and cakes! Free.
Let’s Sing! run by Open Age on Mondays 11-12am at Fitzrovia Court and will continue until at least December each Monday during term times. Come have fun & meet new people! (£1)
Knit, Natter and all crafts between continues on Mondays 2-3pm at Fitzrovia Court. A chance to share and learn craft skills plus have a jolly good chat! (£1)
Massage Alan Wysman, a local resident who is a trained acupuncturist and masseur, is offering massages free of charge. Wednesdays, 2-3.30 at Fitzrovia Court. If you’re interested, please get in touch with me on 020 7580 4576 to book.
All Souls Clubhouse The lunches continue on Weds, with tea at 11, a short service at 12 and lunch at 12.30. Often after lunch there will be either a film showing or visit from people doing interesting things. First visit free, after that the lunch costs £4.50. They also run a visiting programme for people stuck indoors – if you know someone who would benefit, or you can volunteer, please get in touch with Sally on the number below.
