Westminster Senior Citizens Forum will hold its Annual General Meeting on Wednesday 7 November 2-4pm at the Lord Mayor’s Reception Room, 8th fl, WCC offices 5 Strand WC2N 5HR. Fitzrovia Writers – a series of weekly workshops for local writers on Thursday evenings 7-9pm starting 8 November at the FNA, 39 Tottenham St W1T 4RX. The initial 6 workshops will focus on story openings and effective first pages for writers of short stories and novels. The workshops are free to local residents and places limited. Singing There is a community choir at the Basil Jellicoe Hall on Drummond Crescent NW1 1LE Tuesdays 2.15-3.45pm thru to 4 Dec. Anyone can join, no age limit or residence restrictions. Free, run by the Mary Ward Centre020 7269 2000
