During the spring of 2013 we will be leaving the Fitzrovia Neighbourhood Centre at 39 Tottenham Street — our home since 1975 — and moving into new premises in Percy Street. We will make an official announcement about this shortly once we have completed all the paperwork and made arrangements to move.
This will be a big change for our organisation and it will mean we will have less space in our new home so some changes to the way we operate will be necessary. We will make an announcement about this in due course.
However, our housing and welfare advice service and community development projects which we are funded to deliver will carry on as normal. We will though need to shut for a couple of weeks while we move all our office equipment and get everything connected. We will let everyone know what’s going on as soon as we have finalised our plans.
You can find out more about the work that we do by reading our annual report which is now available on the Charity Commission website.
We will also be talking about ourselves and the future of our organisation at the forthcoming Bloomsbury Area Action Group meeting at 6.30pm on Monday 25 February 2013. The meeting which is being held at the new Fitzrovia Community Centre in Foley Street will feature presentations from many of the voluntary groups in Fitzrovia.
